What Is Dataphor?
Dataphor is an open source application development platform
designed to streamline the process of designing, developing, and maintaining software applications. Dataphor is not just another set of application framework components, or yet another take on building applications using today's common patterns, such as MVC/MVP; Dataphor re-approaches the problem from a fresh perspective, building from first principles. Dataphor has been referred to as the Red Pill
of software development.
Current Production (3.0) The current stable release of Dataphor is version 3.0.4420.

Next Minor Release (3.1) The next minor release of Dataphor is version 3.1, currently in Development. This release is focusing on several changes to improve overall performance. In particular, we are planning to address:
- Performance of master/detail cursors within D4 processing logic
- Improve both compile time and memory usage of the query chunking algorithm
- Add restriction optimization to improve storage device integration as well as cross-device queries
Note that the trunk of the Dataphor repository is now 3.1. For the stable 3.0 source, use the 3.0 branch.
